Hi, My connection is through Rachel's brother Benjamin who also married a McDaniel but as his second wife. We haven't confirmed his first wifes name. Several think she was a McDaniel also.
Rachel dau of George and Elizabeth (maiden name unknown) had Georgeb. abt 1731, Benjamin b. abt 1734 in MD and died 1833 in IN, Rebecca b. abt 1735, Elizabeth b. abt 1736, Peter b. abt 1738, John b. abt 1740, Rachel b. abt 1743 and Abraham, b. abt 1750...These dates are unproven (hence ABT) but several researchers seemed to pretty much agree on the sequence and number of children...Rachels' father's father was Peter Pecraft and HIS father was also Peter Becraft. The eldest being born in Yorkshire England and the younger being born in 1675 in Yorkshire, England and died Dec 18, 1718 in Prince Georges Co., MD....Peter and Rebecca had Esther b Nov 18, 1695, and married Philbert Wright Dec 3, 1712, Abraham b. Mar 31, 1698, Margaret b. Oct 6, 1702, Rebecca b. Aug 16, 1705, Peter B. May 10, 1707, Benjamin b. Sep 16, 1710, George b. Dec 28, 1713 in Prince georges Co., MD and died 1808 in KY, and Mary b. Mar 11, 1715/16....I haven't worked on this family for a few years now so there may be better info out there...This will give you something to work on. Darline
