Re: Beery Family History;ohio
Hi, Eldon ...
I can give you those pages you're missing. What is the first complete page you have?Would you like fax copies by U.S. Mail, images by e-mail, or text files OCR'ed from a scanner?
You probably know that Joseph Wenger wrote at least three books covering our family. The first, circa 1903, was the Wenger History. The second, 1905, was Descendants of Abraham Beery. He thought Abraham was a brother of Nicholas Bieri the immigrant, but William and Judith Beery found that the Abraham in question was the immigrant's son, hence a brother of Nicholas Beery Jr.Then the 1911 item is Descendants of Nicholas Beery Jr.
Down in the Shenandoah Valley there is also a small paperback, the Solomon Beery Family, 1965.I found it in the stacks at Eastern Mennonite University, and Danny Beery of Mt. Crawford says he has a copy.
