Re: Beisch's in Kansas
I was glad to find your post.I think your family is connected to Charles Collin's family of Delaware; Ohio; Sangamon County, Illinois and Randolph County, Missouri.I find that Charles' daughter Isabel married Alexander Martin in Sangamon County, Illinois.
Charles seems to have had only one son James who married Alice Conner.I think the James and Alice both died at an early age. I can only trace them to 1870 in Randolph County, Missouri. They may have left a child or two as Charles has two grandchildren living with him when he returns toSangamon County, Illinois . this is found on the1880 census.
Charles Collins children:
Alexanderand Isabel Martin are found on the 1920 census
living with Alexander and Maggie Beisch in Polk County, Missouri. They apparently were dead by the 1930 census as they aren't living with Alexander and Maggie Beisch in Wichita County, Texas.I have looking all over for Maggie's brother John F. past the 1910 census and I can't find him. What do you know about him?
Do you have any information on any of the other Collins' family members?
I am going to see what I can find in Garden City, Kansas about the Beisch family.
By the way, Alexander and Maggie Beisch left one child buried in Polk County, Missouri.--- Alrich Earl died Aug 19,1920.
I hope that your email address isn't outdated and that you will be able to answer this post soon.
I am actually only connected in an indirect way to the family of Alice Conner who married James Martin.
