Re: Beisch's in Kansas
Most all of this was found by looking at census in Dickinson County, Kansas.I have access to Heritage quest census through my local library. It makes it easier to find the correct census. I believe that most of the Stammeyer family line is still located in Dickinson County, Kansas. Go to www.ancestry.comlocate the Stammeyer surname boardand see some of the census that I have located.I also have the 1900, 1910,1920 and 1930 census for this whole family. I have also found the 1875 and 1885 Kansas state census for this family.---I went to the library and looked that up yesterday. I was able to logically put it all together with these census.
I am not directly related to any of this family. My only connection is through Alice Conner whose husband was a brother to Isabel Collins who married Alexander Martin. I love looking up census and other stuff. It helps keep my mind working in my older age. That is why I always look into the in-laws and connected peopleof my own lines.
I'll post or email you any census that you think might be helpful.I hope you have read all my posts on this Beisch surname board here at genforum.genealogy.com. Just let me know what you think you might need.
