Henry Bender and Nancy Chandler Civil War Pension File

I ordered a pension file for Henry Bender and unfortunately, the archives being limited in the information that they ask for, they sent me a file for a Henry BENDER that wasn't mine. This particular Henry Bender had a wife by the name of Nancy E. Bender - so did mine, but unfortunately, I was looking for Nancy E. Bowsher - THIS wife was Nancy E.CHANDLER.

She says that she was born in Indiana and the pension for her husband was taken in Newman, Douglas Co., Illinois. It is a huge file and includes the original pension application, an application for increase in pension and papers for a widow's pension application with a lot of information on Nancy Chandler and Henry Bender ( the papers are over an inch thick).
