I am searching to get past a Johann Georg Bender who died about 1815 in Frankford Twsp, Cumberland Cty, PA.Based on his given age, he would have been born November 07, 1759, so he would not have been your George. It appears that he lived in Berks Cty, PA for some time.His children included a daughter named Elizabeth who married a Christian Tobias. I suspect he had two wives with the second named Sarah Himmelberger. We have additional unconfirmed information that our George was the the same George who was the son George born to a Johann Georg Bender and Magdalena Weidman.The elder Johnn Georg Bender was married to to Magdalena Weidman April 18, 1755 in Germantown (now Philadelphia)PA.We also have other unconfirmed information that there was still an earlier George who was from and may have remained in Bern, Switzerland.

I have learned that there were other George Benders who lived in the Lancaster, PA area and who's line originated in Germany.Much of the material available on the Internet pertains to the George Benders from that line.
