Bender in Ohio 1870-1960's, greater Cleveland area

My great grandmother was Josephine Bender, married John Lentz(looking for his family info too). She was born in Germany/Poland Feb 18, 1864 and died in Bay Village, Ohio on October 18, 1958. She ran a small grocery during the war on Colombia Rd. in Bay Village. I have no records of her family or where she came from other than Poland/Germany(depending on the current border). There was talk that the name was orig. Bendelowski or something else but my father remembers a large family gathering(1940's) at a farm near Thistledown Racetrack with the whole Bender family. So for now Bender it is. They were possibly involved with raising horses.
