Re: Mason Benjamin Bennington VT 1800's

Hi! Just reading the posting and came across yours. I know that this is a shot in the dark, however I also have some Benjamins in my family tree.

I go back as far as William O. Benjamin b 6-29-1837 in Bennington Vermont d.3-30-1914 in Coulterville, Randolph Co.,Illinois. All I have listed for his parents is this, ? Benjamin b. in Vermont married to Mary ? b. in Canada. I have only been able to find one possible sib. for William his name is Joseph/Joe born in either 1842 or 1844. I have my William O as being married to Luvica Frances Lewis b 1836 in Tennesee. They were married 7-17-1860 in Randolph Co. Illinois.

I am hoping that the Benjamin that you speak of that is married to Mary who was born in Canada is the same persons. Look forward to hearing back from you.
