Bennett's in Carbonair, Newfoundland

This is a long shot, but I am going to try anyway. I am looking for anyone who may know of these people:
Samuel Bennett(gggrandfather)married Laura Day(possibly).5 children known: Maude,Bessie,John,Ernest,James Arthur(ggrandfather)James married Mary Ann Wheeler from Jackson's Cove,Newfoundland.James came to N.S. and joined the Northwest Mounted Police and then died in the Halifax Explosion. If any of this sounds familiar at all,I would love to hear from you.
