Micajah's widow Eleanor Johnston Bennett, his son Johnston, and one of his stepsons left SC and travelled to IN, later to Meade Co., KY.While they were in IN, Johnston married Mary Youtsler, daughter of Jacob Youtsler.Johnston had many 1/2 brothers and sisters because his parents had each been married before. There are still descendants of the Bennetts and the Johnstons in the Wolf Creek area of Meade Co., KY.
Sophia Clausen was not Micajah's wife; she was the wife of his stepson, Eleanor's son.One of Micajah's wives was probably the daughter of John Blaylock.M. named one of his sons John Blaylock Bennett, and both he and that one son inherited slaves from John Blaylock. Those were the slaves in dispute after his death.
