Alice died when she was 47 and John was so distraught he said all his children had to call their first born daughter Alice after her and they all did.Hence why my mother is called Alice.

I live in England and now live about 35 miles away from where Richard and Millicent were born.I was born and brought up about 3 miles away from Brindle.It's a lovely little village, surrounded by rolling hills, with St James church being at its heart.
