Re: BENOIT, Paul 1600?

I am from the Newfoundland, Canada, My grandfather,off about four generations back, was born in the 16 hundreds on a boat in rute to the Falkland Isld or shortly after arrving there. They were deported back to France by the British. Later came to an Island off the east coast of Canada and were this time were jailed back in England fore a couple of years. Only to return again to Quebec Canada again , this time they stayed. There were four brothers an was related to one Martin Benoit. I have much information on Benoit in eastern Canada to much to write at this time.Will write again .
