Francois-Xavier Benoit (born abt 1817) married Sophie Lacoste at Longueuil on Feb. 22, 1841. His parents were Joseph Benoit and Charlotte Lemai. F.X. and Sophie had 15 children at Longueuil and the 5th was F.X who was born 5/18/1848 and died 3/3/1849. The 7th was another F.X. who was born 6/7/1850 and died 9/6/1850. The 14th was Francois-Xavier Regis Benoit who was born 10/8/1863, and there are no death or marriage records for him at Longueuil, so he must have left that area.
