Thak you for the return post.Nice to know that we share the same line.I knew of very few Benoit relatives growing up in CT - after doing my research, I now understand.Did your line continue to live in Massachusetts?Do you have information regarding the remainder of Damase's siblings and where he was buried.I have found him on a 1910 census in the US and a 1911 census in Canada.Seems that he lived to an old age.His son Louis came to Putnam in 1873 and it appears that Damase had a son in the US - Napoleon and then returned to Canada.Do you know much about the area where Godefroy returned in Canada and if our distant relatives still live in that area.I found some old photos of my greatgrandfather (Arsene) in Drummondville - seemed that he had a connection there.

I have a picture of Damase that I could email you.Do you have any photos of Moise or his children?
