Deed Book 5, page 367
Dated 4 October 1774
Know all men by these Presents ye I Ann Meekins, widowed, of the County an province afsd for the natural good will and affection I have and bare unto my son Isaac Meekins and unto my daughter Darkis Pool do give and grant unto the them the goods and chattels in manner and form as follows that is to say unto my son Isaac Meekins one brass warming pan, one large chest, to my daughter Darkis Pool my silver spoon, gold ring, my read leather trunk and all my wairing apparel and one pair of silver buckles and all the rest of my goods and chattels both in doors and out doors to be equally divided between my son Isaac Meekins and my daughter Darkis Pool to them their heirs and assigns for ever my natural life only excepted in use of the afore mentioned goods in witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal this fourth day of October, one thousand seven hundred seventy and four. N.B. Isaac Rafield is to have my small bed and Joh(b) Meekins one year old heifer in as full and ample manner as the above sd Isaac and Darkis is to enjoy theirs.
