In searching my Berthiaume ancestors- relation to a Candide Berthiaume Born in Lachine, Quebec in 1883 then married Johanna McCaig and in 1912 had a daughter named Mary Alice or "Amelia" as others called her."Amelia" was my grandmother who moved with her parents to Buffalo, NY when she was 4 or 5 years old. In 1937 Amelia married my dad's father Edward Mahaney.Amelia died in 1956-my dad was about 14 years old when she died.
