I am building a family tree and my problem is I never
got to meet my Grand father so I don't know much about
him other then some pictures. my dad last saw him when
he was 3. what I know about the McConnell's is his
name is Donald Keith McConnell he had 3 brothers by
the names of: Charlie, William (Bill), Lloyd and I
think there mothers name was Bertie Grace or Grace
Bertie ( She was a Nurse) she divorced Donald's dad
and married Dr Doc McCarty and they lived in Wyoming,
they wre doctor and Nurse in Wyoming on the Indian
Reservation) .Donald's aunt and uncles name was
Lynn & cleo Wagner ( not sure of this spelling) They
owned one of the first car lots in Oklahoma City on
Broadway Extension. They lived in Mustang Oklahoma. My
Grand Father Donald Keith McConnell went to millitary
school.(PFC Donald K. McConnell 38782933 Head Quaters
company Academy Regh. Ft Benning Georgia, Aug 12,
1946)He
married my Grand Mother Deloris Birtha
Muir( from Wheatland Oklahoma)73097 Wheatland Oklahoma
73097 was her address , he divorced her when
my dad was 3?,My grandmother remarried a Robert Lee
Mills which later when my dad was 17 adopted him and
so his name before adoption: Donald Keith McConnell
Jr. After Adoption:Donald Keith Mills, it was done in
Oklahoma City county court house, for some reason they
sealed it and wont let me have my birth certificate
even though I know his name but I dont know his
birthday just that it was around 1920...... I have a
picture of him we beleave he
married a lady named Betty(once again not sure) as
a child my dad use to look up every Donald McConnell
.He never wanted any thing from him just to see him
one moretime my dad's health seems to be getting worse
as hegets older. my grand mother has been gone for a
long
time now and some times you just wonder if he is out
there or things about him or if I have aunts and
uncles, my dad is 50 now and this is the least I can
do for him, if any one can help me with anything at
