My great great grandfather was Thomas Jefferson Bertrand, born 1844 in Scioto County Ohio. His father,John B.,mother Mary Hard.
Married to Sarah Colley born Greensburg, 1845. Buried Mt. Hope, Wichita KS.
My great grandfather was James Benton, born 1873,died 1958, Sedgewick, KS.Married Minnie Stepelton.
My grandfather was Thomas Jesse born 1895, Kansas.
I believe descendants of Jean Baptiste Bertrand.
Am just beginning my search, so any info would be appreciated.
