Lillie and Tel Bertrand of Canada then Michigan

could anyone help with information about these Bertrands. My family tells me that they died and all children were split into separate foster homes.My great grandfather is one of their children.I cannot find anything about either Lillie or Telor (Telesphore? or Tellis? same name as son?).They lived in Mason, Michigan and probably passed on after 1900 -the only census record I can find on them.They must have lived in Illinois also because their son Tellor was born there as shown on the 1900 Census.They came from Canada in 1871 and 1876.I have been stumped on this for some time and don't know where to look anymore.Thanks for all your help.
