Besancenez Family in St. Louis, MO

There are about 20 Besancenez's in St. Louis, MO. My husband is one of them. I have been trying to research this line to no avail. I know that they came from somewhere in the Allsace-Lorraine, France region but that is all. My husband's name is Joseph Thomas Besancenez, b. 1958. His father is Thomas Lorenzo Besancenez, b. 1923 in St. Louis, Mo, married Jean Shirley Chiles, B. 1935 in St. Louis, MO.
