In your searchof the Stanfield family you may want to know the original name was Stanfill.When Thomas Monroe was in the military they messed up his records.They had his name as Stanfield so any of his ancestors will be Stanfill instead.I have alot of info on his family.Thomas Monroe's parents were William Green Stanfill and Elizabeth Simmons.I have their dates, other children, births, Thomas & Hanna's dates, children, childrens spouses, and alot of other info just e-mail me and i'll send you anything I have that will help you.I have over 6700 people in my family tree and alotmore info on this family.I have some info dating back to the 700 B.C. on some of this family.
