Re: BESS family in Ky

I show two female Frances Besses...one, born in 1839, daughter of John Bess and Mary Summers.The other born December 01, 1843 and died October 30, 1897, daughter of Lawson Bess and Catherine (Katie) Beam.

I only list one Francis Bess(male)born 1851, son of Peter Bess and Sarah (Sallie) H. Beam.

I would be interested in any other info you have which might help track this down.You mentioned "letters"...any other names mentioned in them?

Also, could you post a ancestry list beginning with your grandmother and continuing from there to you.
