Bettencourt family crest

Hello,
I am from the Bettencourt families in RI and while i was looking for family info on the Bettencourt family I found to my suprise two Bettencourt family crests. Does any one know whick is the real one? If both are real, why are there two for our family name sake? The other crest I speak of I found at this website listed below.
