Lawrence Joseph Bettencourt b.1905 d.1978

Looking for relatives of L.J. Bettencourt.Ran across a signed team postcard of him and team.Researched and found that Larry was a pro baseball player with the St. Louis Browns in 1928, 1931, and 1932.Also noted that he played football for Green Bay Packers in 1932.Inspection of the uniforms of the plays does not show the Browns logo, instead it is a W over F in a circle.This leads me to beleive that he played semi-pro baseball in the Texas League for the Wichita Falls, Texas Spudders.In 1927 the Spudders won the Semi-Pro Championship.Also my grandparents lived in the Wichita Falls area at the time.Larry died in New Orleans in 1978. I would appreciated anyone knowing Larry to contact me regarding this tid-bit of sports history.
