Bewley-Nichol Connections

In the book Bewleys of Cumberland I noted what appears to be connections in the family trees to the Nichol family line. Does anyone have additional information on this connection? I am especially interested in where the Nichol family comes from. My Bewley line (Jane) married into the Fisher line (Joseph) in Arlecdon, Cumberland in 1854. Thank you for any help you can provide.
