Lisa, it's great to hear from you!I think you are going to be pleased with the Bewley ancestral information you've just found.I have recently submitted articles for publication in an Anderson County (SC) Heritage Book about some of our Bewley ancestors.Joseph Hale Bewley's father was James Hale Bewley who was my great grandfather through his daughter, Kate Bewley (my grandmother) and her son, Robert William Webb (my father). Joseph Hale Bewley, was the fifth of five children born to James Hale Bewley and his wife, Nancy Jane (Jenny) McCord. Their first born child was Kate, my grandmother. We don't know much (yet) about Joseph Hale Bewley or his daughter, Elizabeth. We are really looking forward to learning more about them now that we've found you!
