Researchers, as Gary told you I edit (sometimes) and publish a Bewley Newsletter. My file goes back to John Bewley b: 1655 and was as tax collector for the King and Queen of England in Philadelphia, PA. from about 1694 to 1704, when he died. By the way, George Anthony Bewley went to Tennessee, in the later years that is now Greene County.
Christopher and Nathan or Nathaniel went to Kentucky.
To my knowledge, they are the only ones who came "south".The remainder of the Bewleys stayed in Pennsylvania and points west from there. Please contact me at [email protected] and let me know where you fit in this gigantic puzzle. Cuz John
