Beynons in Liverpool
have recently discovered that my 2 x great uncle, Arthur BLATCHLEY, married a Liverpool girl, Elizabeth Beynon at Leicester Register Office in June 1890. She was born c1872 in Liverpool. The address she gives on the marriage certificate is 22 Sutcliffe Street, Boaler Street, Liverpool. No father is named. A month later she gave birth to a son, Arthur Blatchley, at 48 Cotswold Street, Liverpool at the home of her sister and brother-in-law and was also there at the 1891 Census. From the Census it appears that she had a brother Richard, born c. 1849 in Liverpool. He was unmarried and a Railway Engine Driver on the 1891 Census; Margaret, born c. 1857 in Liverpool, by 1891 married to William BEALEY, with 2 sons, William & George (it is their house in Cotswold Street where all these people were staying at the 1891 Census); and Alice, born c. 1861 in Liverpool, unmarried and a cigar maker on the census.
Because of the long gaps between the births, I wondered if there might have been other siblings.
Sorry this is rather a long posting, but if anyone has any information on this family, I'd love to hear from you.
Thanks in advance.
