Mr. Asa BIGELOW died on Wednesday evening at his home, No. 110 Second place.He was born October, 1794, at Colchester, Conn.He began his business life at Hartford.At the age of twenty he went to Savannah, Ga., where he carried on business for eleven years.In 1825 he came to New York and engaged in the insurance business, holding the agency of several of the oldest Boston companies.For the last thirty years he has lived in Brooklyn, and has been an influential member of Christ Church for a long time.The
