Charlie Bigelow/James Gang

Hello ~ I don't have anything, but vague information. I am looking for Charlie Bigelow, who rode with Jesse and Frank James. It has been reported that Charlie may have been the one who was shot by Mr Ford, instead of Jesse. Does anyone have birth and death dates on this ancestor. This is NOT my direct line, but it is a cousin line.
