I do not have dates, but I am sure that these could be found on a search for Jesse James.

It is fairly well documented now, that Charles Bigelow was the one shot - not Jesse James. Jesse James escaped and lived in a large cave, with the help of some friends. He died at a fairly old age, of natural causes. I remember visiting the cave on a trip many years ago.

As to which Charles Bigelow was shot, I'm not sure.
