LYDIA BIGELOW BAKER was the third wife of my 2 great grandfather, GEORGE WASHINGTON RUSSELL of Worcester, Massachusetts. They married June 20, 1865. She died August 27, 1903. I very recently found that she is a BIGELOW descendant and thought I would share data with this board hoping to make contact with other descendants and share what I have so recently found.

Lydia Bigelow Baker was born March 15, 1819 in Phillipston MA dau of James Baker and Lydia Goulding. She married, as his third wife, Alvin Wait Feb 8, 1842 in Phillipston MA. I didn't find his death in Worcester, Hubbardston or Phillipston. Maybe he died after 1850. My records stop at 1850. I got lucky, she married someone with a first name starting with A so I found her right away on the 1850 census plus they were in Worcester. From there on I used the Marriage disk for a location and then to the pvr's for the details.
