Tracing a gene in GENEalogy

I have inherited a dominant gene that often results in polydactylism (six fingers and/or six toes).I have traced this mutation through six generations of my family.I now have evidence that this gene was passed through the Bigelow line or another line.It would help me trace my forebears if I knew which.I would like to hear from you if you are a Bigelow descendant and anyone in your family line has inherited this trait.Please help me.
