William & Abigal P. King, took in Frederick A. Underhill, William Kimball Underhill and George Bigelow. The Underhill brothers came to WI. Terr. abt. 1835 from NY.
I do not know when Bigelow came.
I do know Frederick A. Underhill worked in the lead mines and was a farmer also. Frederick maybe met George or his father at the mines and after George's father died George probably went to live with Frederick after asking William King.
In William King's WILL he left to George Bigelow a town lot
( Second 66x12089 18 5 F.A.U. Sep. 6, 1841 86 86 ) in the town of Belleview in the territory of Iowa. The deed was then in the hands of Frederick A. Underhill and he was directed to deed the same to said Bigelow in fee simple.
George was in CA in the 1850's with Frederick and William Underhill and others from the Wiota & South Wayne, WI. area. George may have stayed in CA. Frederick came back to WI. and stayed awhile and was left William & Abigail P. King's estate. Frederick went back to CA. leaving his wife and five children in WI. Frederick died in Helena, MT. have left CA. for MT.
William & Abigial P. King had only one child, William, Jr. and he died and that left no relatives in WI. to leave his estate. That is why Frederick being the oldest got his estate except the town lot in Belleview, Iowa.
Do you know what happened to all of George's siblings ?
