I've been away from genealogy research for awhile and decided to get back on track.Found your message, just by chance, after reactivating my Genealogy Forum account yesterday.

Have you learned anything new on the Susan (Bigelow) Rand front?I see we both have 1824 as the year of her birth.Dismayed to see that she died on my birthday, October 3; quite a coincidence since we are both named Susan.

All documents on Otis Bigelow's family list his children & Susan is not among them.That is why I'm guessing Susan could have been his ward (perhaps an orphaned child of his brother?).
