Dea Anna:
My mother was Patricia Jean Stovall (Pat).
Her mother(my Grandmother) was Mary Augustine Bigner.
Grandmother had a brother named Herman and a sister Louis Bigner. Plus several others siblings.I dont' have them all listed. When I started doing genealogy My Mom was too sick to help and remember all her Aunts, and Uncles names. I know they are from the Hammond, Baptist, Ponchatoula area.Alsoi can remember a Ann Ownes from Albany that was my Mom's first cousin. But Lost contact yrs ago when we were children. Some one told me she has a barbar shop in Albany, by the school. I drove out that way a few days ago and could not find the shop.
Are you the Anna or know any connections. We have to be on the same lineage. For we are researching the same people.
I dont' have much information at all.I do live in La.I live in the Denham Springs areaa. Which is not so far from Hammond.
Also Mary Augustine Bigner married Jeremaih Nolden Simpson. Grandpa's family was from up around Kentwood and into Ms. area. My Mom and Dad was married In Magnolia.I was told that Grandma Mary had family in Magnolia and so they went to Ms and married.
I am going to try to make a trip to Magnolia in the summer time, to see if I can come up with more info on that family.
I am sure there is a Cemetery there also, Maybe that can give me some names to search by and make the connection.
Thank you for all your post to Brenda Myers. I think she and I also as searching for the same family.
But My Mom got sick and I had to stop my search for a couple yrs.
She passed away Feb 10.2007 and she is the Granddaughter of james Bigner.I also remember an Aunt Katie Bigner. But not sure who she was married to.Bigner was her married name.
if you can help me please do so. I would appreciate this.
ThankYou so much
Sherry Stovall, house
