My gr gr grandfather Clinton BILLINGS born 1831,lived in Labette Co KS, he was born in Ohio. My BILLINGS family also in Boone County Iowa then to Kansas. The names of GILDERSLEEVE and STRINGER appear in one of my families Wills. I have aMary STRINGER who married a GILDERSLEEVE. Some of the other asscoiated names are: WHEELER, STRINGER, DOOLEY. I don't know what kind of a connection we might have, but the GILDERSLEEVE name is unusual and to have it connect to my BILLINGS family might be beneficial for both of us? What time frame are you researching, there were np dates in your query?
