I have information on Alexander. He was christened 6 Nov 1764 in Polmont, parents were Richard Binnie (b 13 Nov 1715 in Muiravonside) and Mary Reid, married 13 Mar 1744 in Muiravonside. Alexander was the last of 10 children. Richard was the son of Robert Binning who married Jean Burns on 4 Jul 1706 in Muiravonside. Richard was the fourth of eight children.
Lileas previously married James Binnie (not a brother of Alexander but surely related) on 18 Jul 1776. They had one child, Janet, but James must have died soon after. Lileas re-married in 1787. She was born 13 Sep 1747 so was 42 when John was born and 46 when third child Alexander was born. Lileas was daughter of Andrew Syme (Sim, Simm), b 29 Aug 1710 and Agnes Reddoch, m 7 Jul 44. Lileas was second of 5 children. Andrew was son of John Sim and Agnes Ruchead, m 28 Oct 1709
John is the g-grandfather of my father-in-law, who is now 90 and was born in Muiravonside.
