Re: Birtwhistles of Yorkshire and Lancashire 1843-1901
Hi Ray, The ancestors for Charles, b. 1843 are fully researched. What hasn't been researched are the descendants of his 11 children. I have been working on this tree with a lot of our cousins. (My family is also from Gargrave.)We have brought the tree up to date including overseas branches, including Australia. We have over 9500 people on the tree now and I am in the process of putting together a book about the various branches including the UK, the US, Australia, Canada and New Zealand. This book will include a tree as a supplement. The articles with pictures have been prepared by various family members. My home page tree has not been brought up to date because it will not allow a tree with this many individuals, but you can get an idea of the ancestry back to 1160 at http://www.familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/i/r/Lester-A-Birtwhistlehttp://www.familytreemaker.genealogy.com/users/b/i/r/Lester-A-Birtwhistle By the way, the motto stated in the message before your is wrong! The coat of arms is on my site.
