I am probably WAY too late in responding to your message, but I've been out of the genealogy mood for a few years.Just decided to update a bit and found your message.

Julia Bishop Work was my ggggrandmother (Jacob Alexander Work).My information shows she was born on May 14, 1794 in Petersburg, Albemarle Co., VA.She died March 13, 1880 in Post Oak Springs, Roane Co., TN.I tried for years to tie her to one of the VA Bishops and never really could verify anything.Wish I had more for you, but that's about it.I do have several documents where she tried to get benefits from Fleming's service in the War of 1812.Let me know if you would like them.

I really don't have any information on Martha.Would love to know more about her though.
