Funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Saturdau, September 22, 2001 at the Union Grove Congretional Holliness Church for Mrs. Eva Molly Lovell Black, 92, of Cleveland. The Rev. Paul Flynn, Rev. L.G. Howard, and Rev. J.D. Sosebee Jr. officiated. Interment followed at the church cemetary. Mrs. Black was born in Rabun County, the daughter of the late Jesse and Ollie Fincannon Lovell. She was preceeded in death by a son, Roy Black, and a grandson, Daniel Guy Black. She was a member of Union Grove Congretional Holiness Church. Survivors include son and daughter in law, Guy and Lera Black of Cleveland; grandchildren, Michael and Fran Black of Charlotte, N.C., Phillip and Sandra Ward of Cleveland, Jerry and Vickie Kesler of Winterville, Horace and Karen Martin of Cleveland; brother and sister in law, Claude and Bernice Lovell of Cleveland; sister Cloe Regina of Easley, S.C.; ninegreat grandchildren, nine great great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews. Barrett Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
