My uncle found this info on Jonathan Black. Does this fit?

In his application for pension for services in the Revolutionary War, Jonathon Black states that the above is true. He was living in (Old) Westmoreland County in 1778 when he was drafted in the Westmoreland County Militia, serving as a scout against the Indians until 1783, when he returned to where had lived near present Dixonville, Allegheny Twp in Armstrong County, PA. He continued to live there until 1807 (all his children to his first wife were born there). They belonged to the Presbyterian Church. Records of his children are complete here.

QUESTION: I'm trying to find out if this Jonathan Black is one of my ancestors. These from Washington & Greene counties, PA:I have a Jonathan Black b unk - died <1850 married to LYDIA UNK b. @1780 in Va. Jonathan and Lydia had daughters Lydia 1816-1871 (who married Christopher Bilby, Jane 1811-who never married, and RACHEL b. 12/3/1818-1888 who married Edward Wood. Any info much appreciated.
