My g-g-g-g-grandparents were John Gray and Mary Black My g-g-g-grandparents were Alexander Templeton Gray and Jane Bilderback. My g-g-grandparents were George G. Gray and Mary Jane Lee. My grandparents were William C. Gray and Annie E. Adair. My parents were Albert J. Gray and Mary L. Franklin my name is Margaret Ann Gray who married Billy Joe Wilkins.
(This is an e-mail from another family researcher) I have pictures of Mary Black's father, Alexander Black (who died in 1812) gravestone as well as his father and mother, Alexander Black Sr, his wife, Alexander Black Jr, and his brother Joseph, as well as many other family members are buried at Ebenzer Cemetery at Rock Hill, York Co. SC.Alexander Black's wife Isabella moved to Illinios with her younger children and can be found in the household of H.W. Black in the 1840 White Co. Illinois census.H.W. Black is her son Hamilton Wilson Black, also memtioned in his father's will. She is next found in 1850 Hamilton Co. Illinois census with her daughter and son-in-law John and Isabella Taylor.I found a reference on Ancestry.com that she died Sept. 16, 1854 and is buried at Sharon Cemetery, Sacramento, Indian Creek, Twp.
