I'm hunting for the genealogy of Fred and Allie Seals also of George Franklin Loman and his son Louis Earl Loman. When my Great Grandfather, George Franklin Loman died ca. 1900, my Grandfather went to live with Fred and Allie Seals. I have been told there was Indian blood in the Loman family. In 1864, the parents of George lived in North Carolina. Not sure where. When the Civil War began, his parents took a train to Texas and he was born the next day in Hill County, Texas. The parents died when he was a small boy of a great tradgedy. George lived with a Captain Hightower for awhile. Then, he followed the rail lines. He married Mary Elizabeth Hale in McAlester, Oklahoma. He died in 1905 after contacting pneumonia from digging the grave of his Mother-in-law, Sarah Jane "Phillips" Springer. Louis went to live with Fred and Allie Seals after his Dad died. He lived with them until he married. Question? Were Fred and Allie Seals related to George Franklin Loman and Louis earl Loman? Another ? I have been told that one of the children of George Franklin Loman looked like the "Wolf or Wolfe" side of the family. I do not know who this is. Still searching.
