James & Edward Blackshear, estate of Instant Hall, 1838, Laurens Co Ga
I found this notice from "Milledgeville Ga Newspaper Clippings (Southern Recorder), dated January 30, 1838:
Georgia, Laurens Co - James U. Blackshear and Edward J Blackshear file their petition for letters of dismission from the estate of Instat Hall late of said county, deceased. (Signed) Francis Thomas, C.C.O.
I'm pretty sure Instat Hall should read "Instant Hall". What I am trying to find out is which Instant Hall this was, exactly who this Edward and James Blackshear were, and why they were included in the estate of this Instant Hall in the first place.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
