Children of Benjamin Bland 1724-1771
For inclusion in Volume 29/30 of My Newsletter, Among Cousins, I am researching sons of Benjamin Bland (1724-1771) from Prince William County Virginia. They were:
James Bland (C1752-1810) who we think moved to Mason County Kentucky with his children about 1800. There has been considerable research about descendants from this line, but I would always welcome additional input.
Charles Bland (1765-1842) married his sweetheart Phillis Pope and went to the area of Present Day Shelby and Garrard County Kentucky about 1790. Charles and Phillis had a family of 15 children who have been well researched but as in the case of James, any additional input would be welcome.
John “Jacky” Bland (C1770-1830) John moved out to Ohio and Illinois with his family and had the following children:
Rachel (born 1789) nothing more is known about Rachel and any additional information is welcome.
Joseph (born 1791 - ) nothing more is known about Joseph and any additional information is welcome.
John Daniel (born 1793-1861) Substantial information is available about John Daniel but more is always welcome.
Elizabeth Bland (born 1794 ) nothing more is known about Elizabeth and any additional information is welcome.
Hannah Bland (born 1796 ) nothing more is known about Hannah and any additional information is welcome.
Mary Bland (born 1799 ) nothing more is known about Mary and any additional information is welcome.
Daniel Bland (1802) we have a substantial amount of information about Daniel’s descendants but additional information is always welcome.
Rebecca Bland (1805 -1892) We have a substantial amount of information about Rebecca’s descendants but additional information is always welcome.
Major input for the line of John Jacky Bland comes from Kevin Fraley with thanks. Please respond here or to me at [email protected] if you have further information about this line.
For those who are interested, Volume 27-28 of Among Cousins is ready for sale and notices will be sent out within the next week. If interested write me at the foregoing e-mail address.
