Where in Ontario did they originally settle?Mary may be a sibling to Thomas and Ezekiel McNichol who moved from New York State to Wentworth County, Ontario about 1843.Thomas soon moved on to Peel County.
Both brothers (not proven) had their first children in N.Y. and their younger children in Ontario.They were (according to the censuses) born in Ireland.I don't know if they came to the "new world" as children or as young adults.
