Looking for any and all info (including photos) on the family of Louis Blaylock (my great grandfather-he was 73 years of age in 1940) from Washington Township, Tazewell, IL. This includes Louis Blaylock-great grandfather, John A Blaylock Sr.-grandfather (Aug. 16, 1894-Dec. 26, 1957 PVT CO M 59 Infantry WWI PH buried at Glendale Cemetery Washington Tazewell County, IL), Cecil Blaylock (Gooding)-grandmother Oct. 28, 1901-Oct. 26, 1972) buried at Glendale Cemetery Washington Tazewell County, IL), John A Blaylock Jr.-father (Aug. 4, 1934-April 10, 1966 SN US Navy buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA), Virgil H Blaylock-uncle (Sept. 6, 1920-April 26, 2004 PFC US Army WW2 awarded the Purple Heart buried at Glendale Cemetery Washington Tazewell County, IL), Leslie Blaylock-uncle, George Stanley Blaylock-uncle (Nov. 5, 1923-May 20, 1967 S1 USNR buried at Fort Rosecrans National Cemetery in San Diego, CA), Shirley Blaylock-aunt, Phyllis Blaylock-aunt and Betty Joan Blaylock-aunt. Most of this info here comes from a 1940 US Census. About the only other thing I have found is a note that 'Citizens serving on the police force of Washington over the years included a John Blaylock'. I have never seen a photo of my father and would like to obtain one (or at least a copy). I was born on Dec. 10, 1956 in San Diego, CA and was given up for adoption 17 days later. My father (John Blaylock Jr.) and his family never knew about my birth. I just found my father's final resting place about 7 months ago and last month did make it to San Diego to visit his gravesite.
