I recently heard from a descendant of Anna and Martin. She told me that the book history of Lycoming Co. states that Anna was the dau. of Abraham Bleyler of Philadelphia. The book is by Meginness. I just got it through Inter. Lib. loan. I says Anna's name was Anna Margaret. I have an interest bec. I have an Abraham Bleyler apparently from Philadelphia. I suspect he may be a son of Abraham also. I did find a Christening record for a dau of Abraham in Philadelphia at the First Reformed Church. The girl's name was Anna Mary Bleyler and she was b. in 1800. I was just looking at the census for your Anna and find she was 50 in 1850 so the right age. I suspect this may be the girl only her middle name would be Mary? The 1850 census shows her as Ann M. Meyer.
I have thought that the Abraham Sr in Phil. may be the same man who married Margaret Bender:
*Record of Pennsylvania Marriages Prior to 1810
Volume 1
Marriage Record of the Reformed Church, Falkner Swamp, Montgomery County, PA, 1748–1800
1787, Oct. 9,Bleüler, Abraham, and Margrith Bender.
Not certain - though.
My Abraham first shows up in Baltimore where he got married. He later migrated to ILL. When he died his obit said "Baltimore and Philadelphia papers please copy".
