Thanks, Ruth.I found Lem and Bertha on the 1910 Census in ? county, Oklahoma yesterday, but left my extraction at the FHC.They were in Oklahoma, but not Pottawatomie or Pittsburg counties.I shall get my data and look for Lem and Bertha's marriage in the ? county. The 1910 find verifies that all children (Everett b. 1912, Whyoma b. 1918, Lorraine b. 1920 and Les b. 1930) born after, at least 1910, belonged to Bertha and not Lem's first wife, Elvira. The only uncertainty is the first son, Lem Jr.I do not have his birth year recorded in my data base.Since there is a six year gap between Everett and Wyoma and ten years between Lorraine and Les, there were perhaps other children, also, who were not living at the time of the 1910, 1920 and 1930 Censuses.
I shall look for Lem and Bertha's marriage record in a day or so and continue trying to find Lem's first wife, Elvira's, death between 1900 and 1910, or other information about her.Cheers, Alice Craft
